Jürgen Frohriep介绍：

After the war, Jürgen Frohriep involved in amateur theater movement of the FDJ. Although he completed any professional training as an actor, he was hired in 1951 at the Berlin theater of friendship. Later, additional appearances at various theaters in the GDR.
Late fifties, entrusted him with Konrad Wolf, the lead role in his anti-war movie star (1959). The film is meant for the professional Frohriep breakthrough. As a permanent member of the DEFA ensembles he was often on the type of roles soldier transferred. In Wolf Among Wolves (1965, based on a novel by Hans Fallada) played Frohriep an officer of the Black Reichswehr. In 1966, he embodied in a victory without fighting the racing driver Manfred von Brauchitsch. From the late sixties, the role offers were scarce. In a small supporting role played Frohriep 1973 legendary film The Legend of Paul and Paula.
From 1973 Frohriep worked primarily for the television of the GDR. Since 1972 he identified as a police lieutenant in the detective series Huebner Police 110th Initially focused on the role played by even the shadow of Peter Borgelt Captain Fox. But Lieutenant Huebner quickly developed its own profile and influenced significantly the number 1991 to the end of the preliminary. A total of 64 cases solved Huebner 1972-1991.
Moreover Frohriep worked extensively as a voice actor and lent his voice among other things, Charlton Heston (Antony and Cleopatra) and Raimund Harmstorf (in the DEFA synchronization of The Sea Wolf, was in the West German version Harmstorf synchronized by Kurt E. Ludwig).
After the end of the GDR was Frohriep no more roles. The actor went through a crisis and suffering from alcohol problems and depression. During this time, his marriage broke up with Kati Székely.
After the ARD in 1993 to continue the 110 Polizeirufs decided Frohriep returned in case no love, no life (1994) as Chief Commissioner Hübner was the last time on the screen. Shortly after the shooting, he died in Berlin.
